Personalised Nutrition Consultations
Work with me to identify the root causes of your symptoms and address them with nutrition and lifestyle interventions that don’t hugely disrupt your everyday life.
Consultations are a truly collaborative effort: you’re in the driver’s seat to implement your plan, while I’m here to ensure it’s as accessible and efficient as possible.
You share with me the knowledge you have about yourself and perhaps your past experience working towards your health goals.
I gather all the information I need to analyse and investigate your health case in the context of what you want to achieve.
I provide you with recommendations that we both feel confident you’ll be able to implement, so you can work towards your health goals.
Health conditions I can help support
Digestive conditions, e.g. irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), coeliac disease, gastroesophagal reflux disease (GERD), small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), food intolerances / sensitivities
Autoimmune conditions, e.g. diabetes type 1, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis (MS)
Skin conditions, e.g. eczema, acne
Metabolic syndrome, i.e. high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol / triglyceride levels
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
Other health concerns
Not everyone coming to see me has a diagnosed medical condition. In fact, most of the time clients consult me because they may have been able to temporarily address their symptoms, possibly with medication, but not completely solve their problems, or achieve their health goals on the long term.
Here are a few examples of symptoms and complaints we could address together:
Energy: You can't explain why your energy levels are low
Focus: You struggle keeping concentrated
Weight: You feel “something” is preventing you from loosing or gaining a few kilos
Digestive complaints: You have unexplained digestive complaints
Chronic health issues: You have health concerns that keep bothering you, such as congested sinus, aches and pains, migraines, abnormal fatigue.
Our collaboration
Our work together starts with a 360-view of who you are: your personal story and everything that makes you unique, from your medical history and antecedents to your health and lifestyle challenges, your current diet and food preference. We’ll also review your health goals so we keep the focus on what you want to achieve from your nutritional therapy.
With these insights I’ll work on identifying imbalances in your body that cause unwanted symptoms. If needed and you’re happy to do so, we’ll carry out laboratory tests. I’ll connect all the dots and explain what may be stopping you from achieving your health goals. We’ll then discuss how nutrition fits into your daily life and agree on tweaks you can realistically stick to.
Within 48 hours of your consultation you’ll receive a summary of our agreed strategy to work towards your health goals, as well your personalised action plan. Our collaboration won’t stop there: we’ll have another call about a week later to discuss any questions you may have about your plan and its implementation. A follow-up consultation might be needed, or not, depending on your progress and what you’d like to do next.
Your personalised action plan will include:
Achievable dietary and lifestyle guidance as discussed during your consultation
Supplement recommendation (where applicable)
Meal and snack ideas
A food shopping list
External resources & tools
All recommendations will be supporting your health goals and take into consideration your taste preferences, your dietary choices (vegetarian, vegan, low-fodmap, etc.) and requirements, your lifestyle and your budget.

FAQs

To give you an indication of how many consultations you may need to book, I'd need to assess whether your health goals may be quickly achieved, or they'd require more complex investigation, and/or interventions requiring work on the longer term.
I’d be very happy to discuss your needs in a discovery call which you can easily book here.

I usually start by recommending dietary and lifestyle interventions that would address the root causes of your unwanted symptoms, and what prevents you from achieving your health objectives.
Testing isn’t always necessary; in some instances, your symptoms provide sufficient information to assume certain imbalances. Implementing dietary and lifestyle changes and monitoring symptoms usually tells us within a few weeks wether our assumption is likely to be correct.
This said, in some cases, especially the more complex ones, or when clients have a longer history of trying different approaches without success, functional tests can be very helpful to identify the causes of certain symptoms, and rule out certain medical conditions.
Genetic tests can even provide insights into an individual’s response to foods and medication, as well as their susceptibility to develop certain diseases.
Just like I’d always explain the rationale for my dietary and lifestyle recommendations, I’d guide you through the choice of tests available to you, and how the knowledge gained from the test results would inform your plan.
Should you be happy to proceed, I can refer you for tests available through the NHS, e.g. vitamin D or iron status, check of thyroid function or certain bacteria. I also partner with private, reputable laboratories such as CNS Lab, Genova Diagnostics, Invivo, Regenerus Labs.

Exploring our genetic predisposition to developing certain health conditions is very helpful for prevention purposes.
DNA test results allow me to identify areas where your body is less efficient because of modified or absent genes. This can include a reduced ability to detoxify, or to absorb certain vitamins. With this knowledge I design personalised nutrition plans that specifically support those areas.
Additional testing (e.g. blood testing) may be necessary to confirm or exclude deficiencies or imbalances that altered genes make you susceptible to experience. My go-to laboratory for DNA tests is the UK-based laboratory Lifecode Gx. I have done four different tests myself with them before deciding to work with Lifecode Gx. This personal experience has allowed me to see first hand the value and power of nutrigenetic science, and I’m very confident recommending their tests.

Generally speaking it is a good idea to try and rely on whole, quality food to obtain the nutrient quantity that’s appropriate for you. This said, supplementation might be particularly helpful in certain instances, e.g. in case of vitamin / mineral deficiencies or lack of digestives enzymes.
I’d highlight which supplement(s) you may benefit from and provide you with all the details you’d need to decide whether to include them your plan.
I would only select high-quality products for you from a range of reputable brands.
Please note that I’m not affiliated with any supplement brands.
